Very Nice, Mark.

For the scale that you are doing, it looks just perfect.
What kind(s) are you planting? I might try just a few. I am in Seattle area.

RE: Mechanizing garlic planting (low tech)

The varieties I planted this year are Northern White (aka german porcelain.....), Shandong (turban), Khabar (marbled purple stripe), Korean Red (asiatic), Lorz Italian (artichoke) and Elephant.

I am a new transplant here, Seattle area. And want to test plant some garlic shortly , this fall. But I think it it too early now. But now that you have done some planting , maybe it is not !

Where about the state of Oregon are you , Mark ? Anywhere around Portland ?

RE: Mechanizing garlic planting (low tech)

I'm just 15 miles from Portland, in Oregon City.

Thanks Mark.
So we are almost in similar climate. Yours is a bit warmer.
