My garlic arrived!

My packages from Filaree Farms arrived today. Eight different types of garlic. I know what I'm doing this next weekend.

Carpathian
Red Rezan
Music Pink
Oregon Blue
Blossom
Chesnok Red
Lotus
Ontario Giant

I also have some on order from The Garlic Store.

I think I'd better clear some more space.

More garlic arrived, my order from The Garlic Store.

Spanish Roja
Killarney Red
Georgian Crystal
Persian Star
Polish Hardneck
And a bonus simply called GSF#65 Rocambole

Last night I cooked some chicken with several cloves of the Achatami I planted last year, also with soy sauce, cooking sherry, and some home-grown sage.

Tasty! Very, very nice.

I think I rather overbought this year. Between what I ordered and what I wanted to replant from the bulbs I harvested this year, I'm going to have to dedicate quite a bit of my garden to garlic.

But I bet there won't be a single vampire in my entire zip code.

I don't have much info on GSF-65 other than it's a midseason garlic from the Garlic Seed Foundation, and SSE #231.

P.S. See my other recommendations in the other thread you recently posted in, "Planting Question, NEW to garlic growing."

Here is a link that might be useful: picture of GSF-65

RE: My garlic arrived!

My garlic order from theGarlicStore.com arrived today also!

Polish Hardneck
Polish White
Music
German Red
Georgian Crystal
Bonus: Transylvanian (I guess they didn't notice I ordered that from them last year? I did save 1 bulb to replant, hmm...)

From last season I will be growing again at least:
Spanish Roja
Brown Tempest
Some variety from Whole Foods that seems to do well in my beds.
