Last year's allium seeds

I know allium seeds are short lived, and am wondering whether to throw out last year's onion, shallot, scallion and leek seeds or try to sow them (in indoor flats) this winter. I'd like to end up with ~6 dozen plants of each.

It's not the cost of new seed, just a desire to use what I already have. The seeds were bought from Johnny's in Dec '09 and stored in ~60F dark cellar all summer. They all germinated great last spring.

Should I try to sow them and hope for the best, do some sort of a germination viability test, or toss them and order new ones? Thanks in advance
