1lb shallots? That doesn't sound right... It could be that some alien pollen got into the seed field and made some of them come out like onions. I'd try to focus on propagating bulbs like the ones your customers prefer, though I'd try a few of the big ones just out of curiosity. If those shallots will divide like regular shallots, and produce 1lb bulbs, that would be awesome.

Yep, the majority are under the 1 lb weight, but the spacing allowed them to grow out and I got some beefy ones. This variety is known for their large size. I plan to start from seed again next spring and plant on 4 or 5 lines with the same in row spacing, but just trying to figure out if the bulb will divide true, I'm assuming it will.
