Can I still eat these onions?

Hi,

I planted a bunch of onions in a big Rubbermaid container this spring. The tops grew really nicely for quite awhile, then the weeds took over and I wasn't able to keep them weeded.

They are very small bulbs......maybe just 2-3x's bigger than the original planting bulbs (about the size of a small walnut). Are they small because of the weeds? Can I still eat all of them, even those they are small? Thanks.

Question #1,probably.
Question #2,sure can.You can use them as sets too.
But I eat them.Usually in the garden.
