how much manure for garlic?

I've started to fill in a new raised bed for my first try at garlic. Last week I brought home a truck load of 3 year old horse and goat manure, and alloted some for the garlic bed.

The bed will end up being filled with 40% well-rotted manure, 40% compost, and 20% soil from the garden.

I know garlic likes compost, but have I added too much manure to the mix? What is your ideal soil for garlic growing?
