| I have a small box of what I thought was German Porcelain Garlic. White wrappers with delicate purple stripes showing through. Got it out to break down and plant today. Found as many as three packets of very small cloves, 6 or more, hanging tight to the bottoms of bulbs. In breaking the main bulb, I found as few as three cloves in other packets within the outer wrapper. These were dug when not more than 50% of leaves were dry.The larger cloves are of a nice size but somewhat long and flatish. |
