| Hello everybody, new to the forum so firstly introduce myself.
I'm new to growing garlic (second season) and based in the netherlands but have land in poland, which has a better climate for alliums. I have recently purchased from a fellow grower in nl several varieties of garlic a total of 160 heads. The problem is in a couple of varieties more than half are rotten, maxatawny and german stiffneck. There's no problem with the supplier as he readily supplied replacements but these to suffered the same problems. Can anybody tell me from the pictures what is wrong with this garlic, ie., disease or from bad drying? I would welcome any opinion or advice. Thanks Scott |

| I suggest you requested a refund. If not, do so now. Further, I hope you didn't plant any, even if they looked okay. If some were rotted, others from same grower (or from same package) are likely contaminated. Some garlic diseases can contaminate the ground for years. |
