| Amigatec, The majority of garlic will grow very well in zone 6 and colder. I have 13 different kinds including Lorz Italian, Inchelium red, Russian, Romanian and german red, Chesnok, Khabar and Music just to name a few. I really like Chesnok since it's a very tough bulb that has a longer shelf life.
