Society garlic reseeding too much?

Last spring I planted several clumps of Society Garlic in a perennial border at my sister's house in England. Now the plants have reseeded aggressively and are very resistant to pulling. Any suggestions for getting them under control? She is in zone 7. Thanks! Wobur

I've grown society garlic but not had a problem of getting rid of it when I was tired of it. The roots don't go very deep. So rather than pull the plants, dig them out.

And in the future, suggest she remove the spent flower heads before the seeds develop.
