Alliums in the tropics?? Help

Hi All

I would like to fill my grandma's front yard with allium globemaster and gigantenum (she's never seen allium flowers before) just to make something special for her. She lives in the caribbean and i would like to know what is the procedure to get allium flowers in tropical weather. Should I cool it prior planting it or it is ok to plant it in the tropical weather without cooling.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I would think that if you chilled the garlic cloves in the fridge before planting that it would work.
