Stars of Persia

I collected the seeds from my Stars of Persia, Allium Christophii, after their first bloom. They were planted for years in the greenhouse and never bloomed, just sprouted big, floppy leaves. Didn't know what they were at the time, hubby brought them home from work. He must have told be they weren't hardy, hence the greenhouse. Finally moved them outside & they bloomed the first year. Giant suckers! Long story short (I know it's really too late for that), has anyone had any success growing them from seed? Or do I have to wait until they multiply?

Just for the record, the star of Persia is an allium. Should I take my question elsewhere? I'd really like some info!

highlands, Most people on here are garlic growers. a few have onions. I have never heard of "star of persia" I take it it's a flower ??? Might better go to the flowers forum and see if they know anything about it. maybe google how to get that flower to multiply

i live in az but ive gotten things to grow there, and i been wanting some allium but cant get them here not in vegas either.id be willing to trade giant blue moon flower vines seeds for some bulbs. they bloom all day long till 5:00 in afternoon all my neighbors r jealous and thats whats imprtant....ha ha just kidding please get back to me thanks
