My garlic is only about three inches tall but its growing through the chicken wire that I put down to hold the mulch in place and to keep the squirrels out. Now I'mn wondering if I should take the chicken wire off while I still can. I don't remember being concerned about this last year. I know last spring I was able to remove the chicken wire in early spring. Help what to do? Maggie
