is it too late to plant my bulbs

I just bought some ceollinos bulgaricum allium.

Itis blizzarding here and i was told if i plant them now they will just rot.

I was told to put them in the refrigerator for a month and plant them in the house. then transplant them outside in the spring.

Is this what i should do?

Someone pleas help me

you can plant outside anytime. Think about it, what is the diff if they are in the ground or the fridge? Nothing rots in frozen ground anyway, it is too cold to rot.

in your zone you shouldn't ever have to put something in the frig, just in the garage should work until you can get them in the ground. Those comments might apply to someone in a warmer zone where it doesn't freeze. My ground is frozen right now, and we just got 6" of snow, so no more planting for me this year. Having said that, yes I did buy 4 big bags of tulip and daffodil bulbs last weekend. They were on sale, I stuck them in my garage until the ground thaws.
