As a child we had 30 something acre, the fields where covered with cockier bur,coffee bean weed, bitter weeds & what we called wild onion(the net calls it wild garlic).
By the way the wild garlic will make animal milk taste funny.
If you put the animal up away from the garlic 2-3 hours before milking, then the funny taste will not be present.
This is a invasive plant.

Well, I ain't from a farm. These things grow in my cactus garden, which is weird...

When I was growing up a neighbor ate what we called wild onion, may have been wild garlic. I ate with them sometimes when I was playing with their kids. They were really good.

It is a weed And we eat it. Moles definitely don't like it, when I pull it out from where I don't want it, I replant the bulbs around any garden beds.
