| Hello:
We are in southeast Denver area at about 5700 ft elevation. I built a block wall on the south side of a house. It is approximately 256 face-feet, from 2-3 ft high, and is aligned east-west and results in a mostly southern exposure, with small south-southeast or south-southwest exposures, and one large western exposure. The material is Allan Block and we left numerous small gaps to grow small alpines. This side of the house is very warm. Behind the blocks is a ~300 sf planting area, ~200sf of which is vegetable garden. Full sun from mid-Feb - mid-November.
What is the opinion of this forum for appropriate alpines-rock garden plants for this exposure and climate? Seeds or starts? We have no preference as to fls. or foliage form.
Thank you,
