Dianthus erinaceus

I'm growing this plant (aka D. webbianus) from seed this year, but can't find much info. The only hardiness reference I found says zones 7-9. Since I'm in zone 6, I hope this is a pessimistic estimate :-) Has any of you tried this in a cold zone?
Thanks!
Rob

RE: Dianthus erinaceus

Are you referring to the so called hedgehog pink?
I've noticed there is some confusion with the botanical
name, as I just happened to be looking something up about this plant this morning. If it is the "so called" hedgehog pink, it is extremely hardy, I grow it here in Alberta and it is superb!
