Hello to all,

I am trying to save my dying red joystick armeria but I'm afraid i've stressed it out too much. At first, I had it planted in full sun (but not well draining soil, i assume) then I moved it to shade into clay soil -a big mistake, then i repotted it in soil that ended up staying moist for too long. Needless to say, after 2 months of constant replanting, the root system is very small and it is very ugly now and mostly dead, but there has been some new growth. the roots arent all dead, there are some healthy white ones at the very base, but most of the peripheral ones are dead. I moved it into a cup with 50% perlite 50% soil. Any tips? I don't want it to die!!

Well, first of all, don't move it for a while. You finally have some new growth, so let it be. All you can do for now is look for the final spot you'll plant it in after it recovers.
