Bloom or chick?

I just bought this echeveria "Black Knight" and it had this stolon on it. I'd like to know if it's going to bloom or if it is reproducing? If it's getting ready to bloom will it die afterward? Thanks for your help as I'm new to these and really like them.

Here is an informative link. I guess the winter survival depends on how cold it gets, but ours thrived in the top of a concrete block wall and our nieghbor keeps them in strawberry jars. EP

Here is a link that might be useful: echveria

Thank you enchantedplace. I'm sorry I don't know how I posted the same thing twice. I guess it's that old timers disease. ugh!
