Something low & steppable for dry sun?

Hey all~
I'm going to plant some steps we have with something or other, can't decide what. It would need to tolerate full sun and perhaps some dryness and withstand walking on probably once or twice a week.
Any suggestions? All I've thought of is a creeping thyme, which is nice, but a tad boring.
Thanks,
James.

Check out stepables.com I believe you will find ideas. I think they will only list places they wholesale to.

Wooly Thyme, Thymus pseudolanuginosus
Attractive, aromatic, low growing and tough.

Green Carpet works very well-I'd highly recommend it.Also,Dymondia makes an excellent walkable ground cover in full sun.
