looking for flower in summer

have a couple slopes that get no water but sun in zone 5-6....creeping phlox.and some juniper carry most of slope...looking for some flowering plants during summer that require dry rocky environment....have just bought house and need to add color or contrast for summer ...any help?

    Just one Genus the lower growing of which might be suited to the your rocky slope - look up the Cistus species and cultivars. They are certainly striking in bloom and thrive well in a dryish and sunny situation.
