Growing Hens and Chicks ?

| I have some "chicks" that have detached from the "hen".
Will they make new plants if I put them in some soil?
I do not see any roots on the stems.

| Yes, they will make new plants, roots will form where that stem meets the rosette, once it is in contact with soil. |

| They are tuff little birds arent they. I keep gathering more varieties of the darn things and they just dont sell at all well for me.
This year even many of the chicks sent out little flowers, no stems, just flowers?? has not happened before. |
