Alpine Seeds or plants Wanted

The following is a list of some alpine plants found in the Adirondack Mts. of NY and in New England.

If anyone has these seeds or knows where I can obtain them please let me know.

1) Wood Sorrel, (Oxalis acetosella)

2) Indian pipes, (Monotropa uniflora) (FOUND)

3) Twinflower, (Linnaea borealis)

4) Diapensia, (Diapensia lapponica)

5) Lapland rosebay

6) Bluebead lily, (Clintonia borealis)

7) Goldthread, (Coptis trifolia)

8) Alpine brook saxifrage, (Saxifraga rivularis)

9) Dwarf cinquefoil, (Potentilla robbinsiana)

  1. Harebell/Bluebell, (Campanula rotundifolia) - (FOUND)
  2. Northern meadowsweet, (Spiraea latifolia)
  3. Labrador tea, (Ledum groenlandicum)
  4. Mountain heath, (Phyllodoce caerulea)
  5. Leatherleaf, (Chamaedaphne calyculata)
  6. Moss plant, (Cassiope hypnoides)

    If you don't find those seeds, try posting again in early summer next year. Another good place to go to find about seed availability, native plants, etc. is Alpine L (do a search on Google for: Alpine L). There should be a link to a seed exchange and that exchange shows what seeds were available over the last few years: (hundreds (thousands?) of species and varieties.

    As for your list, I grow a few of those. Just a suggestion on the Bluebird Lily. They are very common in some locations so try and get a mature plant. A seed can take five years to produce a flower producing plant.
