Irish Moss (sagina subulata) in window boxes?

| We have about 60 Irish Moss starter plants that we did not get into the ground before winter set in (N. WV here).
Will they survive in window boxes and should they be brought inside - in the garage - outside to freeze with the environment - does it matter?
Thanks!

| Window boxes tend to dry out between waterings. Irish Moss doesn't tolerate that very well. I would think a window box would be a poor choice for them. |

| I think that you get enought rain there for it to remain moist...the main thing is exposure.Full sun would be best during the cooler months. |
