Semps... all the different colors

This year I've started into sempervivums full tilt and have over 50 varieties now. We have a nursery nearby... North Hills, which only sells semps. The owner John gives nice size plants with loads of babies. It's great.

I've begun a total rock garden for half of the collection and would like some ideas for accopany plants. I've had some purple moses-n-a-boat within the garden, but that's not cold hardy.

I can also trade with people if anyone's interested in trading semps.

Let me know,

Chris in West Virginia

You've got tons of options for plants to go along with hens and chicks....
I really like Sedums, there are tons of different varieties to choose from,my favorite is 'Cape Blanco'-It's a good filler plant.
I also like Dymondia....it's a neat ground hugging member of the daisy family, with very neat looking silvery leaves.
Another good choice is Veronica 'Georgia Blue' with it's low growth and very vivid blue flowers.
Try mixing in some larger growing Echeverias, and also Crassulas....all of these plants will grow well together.
