At last a bud?

Hi Kristi, Donna et al. I think I have at last got a bud coming next to the 2 very long leaves. It is only a inch long but definitely looks like a flower bud! I will post a pic when it is a bit bigger. Meanwhile what do I do with the 2 x two foot long leaves? Just leave them. No pun intended.

Just leave the leaves alone, a flower always looks a little nicer with leaves along with the flowers, not so barren looking..just my opinion..be sure to post pictures of the progress, you don't have to wait until it actually
blooms...
Good Luck and keep us posted..so you don't forget how to post pictures, it's easy to forget if you don't do it often..
