Very Lovely, I love it..! It shows the rest of us who were somewhat disappointed in our blooms what Sweet Nymph is capable of...mine had good color, but not the nicer form that yours has... thanks for giving us hope...

Mine had fantastic color and loads of pollen so it wasn't a total disappointment. My second scape was definitely better than the first. I'm counting on next year's blooms to be much better.

I have loved all the photos you have shared with the list, and would like to try sharing this photo of my two Sweet Nymphs in bloom. It is my first attempt to post a photo using photo bucket so please excuse if I mess it up. If this works, you can see the difference in the two bulbs which came from the same vendor at the same time. The blossoms much larger on one than the other.

Hi Blooming! Welcome to the Amaryllis Forum. I love your name, by the way. You did good with your 1st photo attmpt. Your Sweet Nymph is sure full of blooms! Is that just 2 scapes or three blooming at once? The profusion of flowers must be a knock-out in person.

Yes, Cindee. It is three stalks in bloom - 13 flowers open at once. Even my husband commented on them when he walked into the living room. But I have to put my nose right in the blossom to detect any scent. Maybe they'll be more fragrant next year. However, scent or no, they make a lovely show.

Such lovely pictures and the color is amazing and I just love how the veining shows. I put some of Sweet Nymphs pollen on a Papilio.. to see if I can introduce that lovely pink...my bulb is very stressed, but the color was great. That must have been amazing..13 flowers at once, you must have enough pollen to fill a bottle! (maybe an Olay bottle) :-)
