Was this a new purchase? Mine has a pretty tall scape so far!

Hi Josh -

This is a newly purchased bulb (fall '10), although I've grown this hybrid before. My first bulb of it arrived rootless, bloomed rootless, took months and months to root, and continued to decline, slowly, for several years. This fall I decided to put it out of its misery and start afresh. So far, much better - the new MG has roots and seems more vigorous. We'll see.

Mine isn't notably taller than the rest of 'em are in my too-cold, not-optimally-lit growing space. :) It's doing that new bulb thing of putting up two scapes at once - not that I'm complaining.
