What item did you purchase in 2013 that will make your Hippi habit (addiction) better/more tolerable for you and yours?

I'll start:
I splurged and bought the "Jump Start High Output T5 Grow Light System". I only bought the "small" 2' system, but it made an incredible difference in my seedling quality and growth.

In the past, I had used a combo of cool and warm (1 each) fluorescent bulbs. Now that I've seen the difference, I bought a set of 3 kits that are 3' each for the back bedroom, where I have a tall set of growing shelves.

The seedlings in the photo below are about 6 months old. Most were planted in June 13. Some are much smaller; obviously less hardy crosses.
