Sounds like you spoke with "K". She actually called me last week after I called and left a voice message with my cell #. I repeated my # 4 times to make sure they called back. I can't put a strike against them if they make it right for us.

I'm relieved that you are going to get a new bulb! When they sent me my replacement for my gashed bulb, both bulbs lived..I'm not so sure from the looks of your bulb, that you will be so lucky..but at least you got positive response.. FINALLY!! Now as long as it doesn't freeze......

I'm happy they're making it right, it took a lot of effort tho. It didn't seem like they wanted to send me another bulb because they seemed to think this bulb is okay but they did it for good faith anyway..

Donna, I've never had a problem with bulbs freezing as long as I don't let it sit on the porch, they're good about making sure they don't leave my packages out.

Once I did have a package from UPS left on the porch without me knowing and it froze, the bulbs survived tho with no damage! They sat out in 15f weather for over 24 hours.. They were bulbs of 'Jewel'.

I had bulbs shipped from the NE last January...the week that everyone froze. Each and every bulb arrived looking very bad. Some were hot pink. Others were already looking mushy. Out of the 12 bulbs, only a couple survived. They turned into wall paper paste (consitency). The seller replaced them, but of course the bulbs that I had ordered were sold out and so I got many bulbs that I didn't really want.

If given the option, I will not receive bulbs mid-Dec to early March as weather conditions are unreliable. Shipper blamed the frozen bulbs on UPS (they ship Ground) and the bulbs sitting overnight in trucks in freezing temps.

UPS leaves their boxes in their trucks overnight, the pack the night before, USPS does NOT do this, they leave them in a warehouse that is climate controlled, do not use UPS during the winter to ship bulbs.
