It will come and bloom again! The only thing, that maybe happens, that the Hipi did not get enough fertilizer for a flower and only brings leaves.
Give her a bit more time!

Hi, And while you're waiting and since you have already soaked the roots, don't water it again until you see some substantial sign of leaves..watering it once should help trigger it to grow, too much water with out leaf growth will only make it rot..if it's in the sun, it shouldn't be much longer..these bulbs tend to have a mind of their own and don't often do the exact same thing from year to year, even with the same bulb! And as Frank from the first post said, in the summer or when there is good growth with the leaves, fertilizer helps tremendously....

I watered it once after the root soaking and then left it alone to completely dry...but I did give it another watering today, even though there's no sign of growth yet. We're expected to have a few days of cold, dark weather...hopefully the sun will come out again soon!

Try putting it on top of the refrigerator where it is warm..no matter if it light or not.. it doesn't really need light until something pokes up..it works for me..I've been bring 3 or 4 bulbs up and setting them on the fridge and it works....Just a thought...
