Sharing my Pretties!

This is probably my favorite of the Maguire's Amaryllis. I liked it so much I replaced it when I lost the one from the first order. And yes. it was worth doing!

Forest Fire opened with bright orange petals that ended in Screaming Hot Pink, but more golden orange toward the center. ITs stamens are that lovely "Maguire's Hot Pink". Its been opened for about a week now and the color has faded to a soft more golden/coral orange/salmon blend, with darker tips, THis pic was taken before the color began to lighten. I will try to take another pic today to see if the difference will show up on photo.

We are in the midst of an ice storm and one of the few places in the Pacific northwest that hasn't lost its power. Amazing! We are usually one of the first to loose it! If you don't hear back you will know what is going on
