Green Dragon Amaryllis

I can't remember who I promised (Jared?) but I remember someone asking me to post photos. This is the Green Dragon Amaryllis I ordered from edensblooms a few weeks ago. I thought the scape was drying up or dying off but it persisted and revealed four buds.

I took pictures of the bloom in various lightings.

What makes me nervous is that the bulb is still soft. The plant arrived with three leaves and two of them curled up pretty fast, leaving just one leaf left.

I'm glad it still bloomed for you Dragonstone! And thanks for the pictures too! The Joker bulb I ordered came with two scapes showing but the second one has aborted I think. It too came with no brown outer layers and was wrinkled and soft. It's been potted for about a week now and is still soft but I'm going to get it a heating mat and some K-L-N soon. The other scape is doing great though. I'll have to put up pics once I can get on a computer.

Nice to see your Green Dragon in bloom! I have one that is just putting out roots... no flowers or leaves to be seen! I look forward to when it "wakes up" from its slumber.
