I'm looking for information on the cultural requirements of the various hippeastrum species, as this varies widely. Joshy had discussed a few of them in a recent thread, but I'm hoping there's a concise reference site with this information. Any suggestions? Thanks, --Rr

Rick, ...OR.... Email our Bluebonsai (Dan) and ask him! If you'll list the species your 're wondering about, you might get specific responses vs asking about species in general. People on the list may have a couple of species that thrive in their care, but they didn't reply because your question may or may not have applied. Heck I have a few species that are doing great, but I don't know which ones you are most interested in!! (I could do a better Internet search with some specific species names!)... Help me help YOU!! :-)

Rick, There's a new member (SavannaMan) who seems to know about species... Maybe he can provide you with some tips. Again, knowing which ones in particular may be helpful. Seems to me I also say growing tips on one if the sites with seeds for sale. K
