H. Red Garden

Hello Folks,

A few months ago I purchased Red Garden from Brent & Becky's and I got a huge clump of bulblets connected to the mother bulb. I didn't give it any thought cuz I ordered another cluster type hippeastrum (Klister) from Eden Blooms the year before and it didn't do too well. I am very happy to say that I was not disappointed with Red Garden. Take a look.

It looks really healthy; be sure to post pictures when that bud blooms...looks like you've got quite a collection going there!

I definitely will post pictures and I think I totally went overboard this fall...do you think there's any hope for me??? CHAD IS BAD!!!

Hi Macroclemys and Kristi,

There are three scapes poking out at the moment and possibly a few more on the way, they seem to show up overnight. As for the "bad Chad" I totally say it with a smile on my face and it has been affecting me since I was quite young. LOL

Wasn't there also a yellow variety of the "garden" type hippies? THAT'S the one I want! My Eden's Blooms garden cluster died (it was MUCH smaller than any klister I'd seen before). I can't wait to see your reds when they're in bloom!

There is a Yellow Garden and also a Striped Garden.
