Is that Temptation in the back? I really want a Gervase. It would be great if there were more amaryllis cultivars with fantasy blooms.

It's funny... last year Gervase seemed to be offered by almost everyone... and this year she's nearly extinct! I love the splash effect... each bloom is obviously different. Gervase is on my list of wanted bulbs!

Van Engelen had them for about $8/bulb in lots of 3. I usually kept 2 and gave the 3rd away for many of the bulbs I ordered from them.

I ordered a gervase last year but got a green flower instead. I really love Temptation. It's my favorite of all the amaryllis I've tried. Next season I'm definitely going to give Van Engelen a try.
