Red Lion that isn't

So how many of y'all are dealing with sneaky little 'imposters'?

Once again took a chance and picked up a hippie from Lowes for the Xmas season. It was supposed to be a Red Lion (was one of those boxed with a plastic white pot). Definitely isn't. While it is a red, it's not the deep rich red of Red Lion. This is much brighter/lighter red. PC is giving me issues currently but I'll attempt to get a pic later. On the plus side, the buds started opening up New Year's Eve ... which I thought rather good timing. (I knew when I got it that Xmas was out of the Q.)

Last year Amigo was a common replacement for Red Lion. Do you see lighter lines in the middle of each petal? Please post a photo when you can!

I got my kit at Target. I posted a picture of my Red Lion that wasn't on the thread, "Your guess is as good as mine". It also has faded light red petals. Does your's look like mine?

Clare's is 'Amigo'

'Amigo' seems to be the new 'Red Lion', the supplier of the large chains (target, walmart..etc) always substitutes with 'Amigo'. At least their bulbs aren't virused like the bulbs supplied to Lowe's which I think is from a Brazil grower.
