Pot Size For Papilios....To Big, Or To Small?

Well now that I have my collection of new Papilios, and also 2 Exotic Stars, (they are just putting out scapes now), all the bulbs are in separate pots. They are single bulbs, 22-26cm bulbs, the Exotic Stars are bigger...28-30cm?....all in 6-8in azalea pots.

Are those big enough to grow them out in for the coming year? Or do they need to be potted up to NOT get pot-bound?

I recall everyone saying they love to be root-bound, to make them bloom, and be happy. And my old Papilios were in the same pot for many years, I just potted them up into 1 HUGE clay pot before Christmas, and the beginning of my Papilio buying spree.

Now that they are growing, done blooming, they are far from root-bound,they are now just getting leaves. So...is the pot size ok, or should I go bigger, or put them all into one huge clay pot? Opinions.
