Royal Colors lists them as available. They ship worldwide and will ship again in March.

Hi June,

I don't know whether or not you ever buy from Ebay but personally I have bought many bulbs from different vendors with basically great exeriences with them all. (but one),
Three years ago I bought a papilio from the seller (see link) and was totally satisfied, so much so that I bought another. Both bulbs were healthy and one even had an emerging bud. That I realize is not the norm, just a bit of luck. So I wouldn't hesitate to try this particular seller. If you're interested in his offerings just click on "see sellers other items" and he has several sizes. Just a thought..

Did you try EasytoGrowBulbs in CA? I know earlier in the season they were selling papilios, I haven't checked them lately..I've done business with them on several occasions sucessfully too, good luck with your search...Donna

RE: who is selling papilio now?

Just this past weekend I bought a papilio from the seller mentioned above and one from the seller running this auction (I bought a larger bulb): http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Inch-Amaryllis-Papilio-bulb-Butterfly-7-/271 152125862?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f21ed17a6

The bulbs haven't arrived yet, so I can't offer a comparison of the two sellers. The two seem to have different papilio clones (one is more green with less red and the other seems more cream/green with a lot more red). I'm hoping this means the two can be crossed! -Tina
