I too, find that a good number of my seedlings produce offsets at a very tender age..they want to grow in klisters..I suppose, if one ends up with a very desirable seedling.. then we're well on our way to propagating more of them and that's a good thing.

As far as Lady Jane being barren, I have 3 or 4 of them and come to think of it, none of them have produced bulblets..but her pollen is very fertile...and with such a beautiful face, I guess we can't complain. Lady Jane is rampant over here, being substituted for just about everything..and that's not bad either as far as substitutions go.....

One of my 2005 seedling acted the same way. It turned out a lovely double. In two years the bulb lets pushed it out. I found it resting on top of them with few roots.
