Today I was able to collect the first seeds of the season. So happy!!
'Party' produced a podful of healthy, big seeds pollinated by 'Alfresco'.

I believe - and hope - that some of you dear friends have used Alfresco as the pollen parent. What are your thoughts of A. as daddy so far?? Any photos of the offspring??

'Rosado's pods are next to pop open, but it will still take some time to reach that point. Pollen parents are Party and Diva.

Seeds are so exciting, but watch out! They will take over your life!! I have had some success with H. Alfresco as a pollen parent. No blooms yet.

Ok, thanks Kristi. - Oh yes, they will, they will take over my house also; where to fit them for all those years before the first bloom, and then onwards...

'Party's seeds by 'Alfresco' are germinating very well. A myriad of healthy white roots are showing already.

'Rosado's seeds are floating but no signs of germination yet.

'Charisma's seedpods are maturing and at this point I'm fairly confident of success. They look good and the scape doesn't show any signs of drying and collapsing before the seeds are collectable. Pollen parent is 'Sumatra'.
