You're so lucky you can plant them in the ground..and with your off shoots you'll have clumps in no time!

Barbra, I do the same. They are grouped in beds for variety, size and blooming time. I give away or sell anything that comes up red, orange or red/white striped. My yard is all pinks, a few whites and one hidden, "specials" bed for bulbs like Charisma. I spend the blooming time pollinating (with a small, soft watercolor paintbrush), collecting seeds and planting seeds. I just love amaryllis and am having so much fun with them. I planted two new live oaks just to get some more shade in the yard - to make for good growing space for more amaryllis. :)

Love the Yard, I am a newbee to amaryllis, have no idea how to pollinate, or even collect seeds. Like you I love the pinks, am not a fan of reds, or stripes. I do like the orange noid that has a hugh bloom. Barbra
