Insanely beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing them. The blooms are absolutely gorgeous and it looks like there are plenty more to come as you mentioned. It's also very fun to see the snow coming down outside the window, too, while you have such a beautiful tropical display indoors.

Oh, soo very beautiful!!..What a show in those lovely old deep windowsills that made me so envious when you showed them to us a year or so ago...Do I see some seed possibilities there? I am going to try and get my Lima and second scape of Evergreen together..and, what direction is that favorite window facing..?
I'll have a positive update in a week or so on the aulicum seedlings..they are starting to pop..

If somebody sneezes or somehow you let the wind blow the pollen around willy nilly in your picture perfect window.. and you end up with some unknown seedpods, could you save a few..and if you don't want them.. I'm sure there would be some very interested folks out there..Just look at all those possibilities...!!

Donna, this window faces east. It is my only east facing window. All other windows face south or north. As for pollinating, I just don't have the time. I'll let that up to you other intrepid hobbyists. I currently have over 300 Hippeastrum bulbs still "sleeping" in "cold storage" and almost 100 in various windows and in my plant room amoung nearly 100 South African amaryllids and about 2 dozen Worsleya procera. I have some exciting hybrid hippi seedlings from Maria that should bloom next year. So, I have reached my limit!

Hans, I have to agree that Exotic Star is one of the finest H. papilio hybrids. My only complaint with it is its irritating 'excessive' phototropic habit. All its flowers try their best to face the sun!
