Good Morning Donna,

A lovely palette of colors and a smorgasbord of form, texture, and substance. Tammy Tucker is more attractive (both front and back) than I anticipated, but you know I am fond of those Aussies. I like her raspberry dots, which harmonize perfectly with the darker picotee edging. It looks like her stigma and style are delicately pigmented and dotted too.

Good Growing, Blanca

Donna,
Is that your Pink Diamond from last year that caused such a fuss? Love the color!!

Well, it might be, I have the original bulb and a daughter bulb that is just as large, side by side and I don't know which is which..last year it was the second flower on one of them that was "different" but the leaves on both bulbs were clean for the entire summer...Donna

The color seems more intense this year to me too..

Hi Donna,
Beautiful specimen! I really like the Tammy Tucker one.
Are your Ada's Flower and Valerie Maree blooming yet? Where did you buy these bulbs from?

RE: ~~A few new blooms~~

My,
These are bulbs from Australia that I purchased from a group order several years ago.
My Ada's flower died. It just bloomed and than dried up and there was nothing I could do to save it. Valerie Maree has yet to bloom for me this year but it has sent up nice healthy leaves. I wouldn't be surprised it it didn't bloom this year as when I first acquired it it sent up 3 flower spikes with 4 flowers each so I suspect it is just a bit tuckered out!...Donna
