Amaryllis as cut flower

The back yard Amaryllises are used as cut flower to decorate my rooms.

Living room, my son, sister in law and my grand daughter.

Here I enjoy them the most.

Arif, they are beautiful. Lovely family too!

I cut 3 stalks yesterday to take to the Houston Amaryllis Show/Sale just to put them on display. I had never cut stalks intentionally...it was a little odd, but for blooms that I am not going to cross it makes sense so that I can enjoy them in the house.

Kristi, I agree! During the spring, I take large bouquets to my mother and friends. Appleblossom makes one of the prettiest of all of them. I use crinum leaves for greenery. {{gwi:387657}}
