Lima x Night Star 2010 hybrid

Aha, now for some interesting possibilities. Two Lima x Night Star 2010 crosses have opened. They look rather different - one has broader petals with brighter red and more green, while the other looks closer to Lima.

What makes it interesting is that I have both Night Star and Lima blooming at the same time as the hybrids - only just, though - the Night Star is fading fast.

This gives the possibility of crossing the Lima x Night Star individuals with both Lima and Night Star (both ways) which might give some more cybister-like hybrids in due course. IâÂÂve tried crossing Lima x Lima several times, but the pods have never developed, possibly because they could be offshoots of the same plant. Maybe this way I can edge closer to getting a good supply of seeds which will resemble Lima. IâÂÂll keep you posted.
