Are some of these named? Or, for your crosses...who are the parents?
Thanks,

RE: Let's get it started

PuPu,

It's nice to see this year's hybrids all together. I know you posted a couple of them earlier but that first one is really beautiful. The last one looks like a semi-double Giraffe. If you can, please let us know what the crosses are, it's always very interesting to know.

RE: Let's get it started

Kristi, They're all my seedlings. I have no idea to register a name or other else.

Donna, Thanks , as you mentioned are from Lima x "Double" like Dancing Queen, Lady Jane...etc

 o
RE: Let's get it started

The new one looks like a snakeskin:)

 o
RE: Let's get it started

"Snakeskin" is beautiful! Very nice veining!

Donna

 o
RE: Let's get it started

that is awesome! The ones in my yard are just starting to bloom. I noticed Susan has a big flower open and so started poking around the yard and scapes are everywhere! Yeah spring!
Tally HO!

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Very nice - some interesting new varieties here

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Love the 4th one down. Usually, I like singles better than doubles, but that one is gorgeous!

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Oh....Snakeskin is very nice! Well done.
K

 o

Awwwh! I like the Double, and the Snakeskin is GOLD! With 4 florets per scape in the next season a total winner!

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Wow, Wow, Wow, PuPu!

Your 2013 Amaryllis Blossom Festival is most impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed all of your new blooms, but I wish that SG256 were growing right here by my side. It was love at first sight with that treasure!

I am very fond of my double cybister 'Residence' bulbs, but your multi-hued SG252 is a delightful improvement (and I see that it has produced some pollen for you). Sigh! To me, your SG247 is also an improvement over Ludwig 98-60, which was my favorite narrow-petaled, spidery cybister hybrid until I saw yours.

Can you tell that I am blown away?

Congratulations on producing another year of spectacularly unique blooms!

Cheers and hats off to you,

Blanca

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Thanks:)

Haweha, also Double reblooms again this year.

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Dear Blanca,
SG252, it needs improve again, the semidouble is not good, even thought owns 7 flowers on one stem.

 o
RE: Let's get it started

SG134 is very beautiful! Lovely soft pastel with a perfectly formed shape, You do the doubles so very well!!

Donna

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Thanks Donna.
Actually, I'll choose some well-formed doubles this year. Others will be kicked out cause I have no much place, sigh....

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Awww now you're just showing off!! ;-) All three are beautiful.. the snowy white and the lovely pink. The orange is pretty too and so is the one in the background behind the orange!! I hope you've got some friends you can give your cast-offs to!

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Cherry Nymph

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Just a pretty red, May be Red Lion

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Wow, you got a double Magic Green! And your Cherry Nymph is very pink, mine was quite red but I have a Pink Nymph that has yet to bloom, I'm thinking it should look more like your Red Nymph. All your blooms are very pretty!

Donna

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Rene, your flower bed looks very nice, it's so splendid!

Hereby it's another little size :)

 o
RE: Let's get it started

I wasn't sure that one was Magic Green, When I had to treat all mine for that terrible Narcissus bug they got all mixed up but it is greener than the pic. I have some I had crossed so it might be one of those. There was a marker that said MG not sure if it is, but I like it.

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Seven Fairy

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Wow! They are all great especialy SG257 and SG133. Don't you just love Alfresco? Your hybrids are prettier than most of the standards!

Donna

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Thank you, Donna.
Alfresco is pure double white so I let it stay:) BTW, SG257 with good scent and 6 big flowers , I also like it.

 o
RE: Let's get it started

How did I miss this thread. There are so many beautiful flowers.

 o
RE: Let's get it started

All crosses are very pretty, I wish for an as good crop
Arif

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Thanks for all compliments.
Update~

 o
RE: Let's get it started

WOW!!

This took a while to go through these beauties and pick my favorites.

SG261 is bright and cheerful, I love it and SG192 is similar to SG257 but SG257 is still my favorite of those two.

SG258 is very soft and has a lovely face, a winner also as is SG258 the green color is amazing.

Now if I had to pick just one that I could have it would have to be SG262 your exquisitely shaped apricot double with the fantastic veining but I'd also want an SG257!!

Pupu, I don't know what you do for a living but you surely should be in the business of mass producing and selling some of your hybrids. I'd be hard pressed to only choose 10 of this years offerings so far...

Thanks for sharing these..

Donna

Oh..and I mustn't forget the very first one SG259 and SnakeSkin...

RE: Let's get it started

Thanks Donna.

Though I'm working for a orchid company, I never forgot the initial decision for Amaryllis. Maybe someday, I'll sell a small quantity of them in the domestic market.

It takes time to wait, also working hard is worth.
Would you wanna try some seeds from SG259, almost mature:)

Pu

 o
RE: Let's get it started

first one is virus.....pity

 o
RE: Let's get it started

What a shame the first one got ruined..the rusty red color with the lines looked amazing. But, you have more winners as well as once again, more perfectly shaped doubles! SG 254 and 255 are both very pretty also. As well as a knack for gorgeous doubles you also have a talent for lines and veining!

Thanks for the offer of seeds from SG259 but I have a Dutch hybrid that looks almost identical. But I don't have any that look like SG257 if you had any seeds floating around from that one!

Donna

 o
RE: Let's get it started

So many lovely blooms, Pu, I love them all!!!

 o
RE: Let's get it started

I would first like to start out by asking, where do I go to place my orders for a few of these flowers j/k. Your crosses are beautiful, your years of waiting looks like it really has paid off. Oh and put me down for a snake skin sg256, and theI beautiful double sg246

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Oh these are so wonderful i can't really get my eyes of and my CHAD is going mad!
Could you really send seeds? That would be so great, but as post earlier, where should I go to place an order with you? As I'm In love with SG254, SG134, SG257, SG192

I think they are wonderful in every possible way!

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Actually, I have no idea to sell them with bulb. All that I can do is offer some lucky seeds for you guys. Email me, I'll assess the feasibility.

Donna, SG257 did not work. I have to wait 3rd stem and try again.

 o
RE: Let's get it started

work hard, open hard :)

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Pupu,

Once again you've out done yourself!! The last one is perfect! Your doubles are once again lovely especially your peachy one, the pink one ain't bad either! And, the two singles are beautifully formed with 4 flowers.

I now AM extremely envious of you and those of you who can grow these directly in the ground. It puts you miles ahead of someone like me who has no greenhouse and limited to fooling around with pots in windows. I know Hans-Werner seems not to have been deterred by a lack of a greenhouse though...
And, of course your choice of crosses!!

Anyway, thanks for sharing it gives me the incentive to keep plugging along...

When I see that you and Hippiezep have new posts I can't wait to see the flowers!!

Donna

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Donna, thank you for liking it.

This is a small happy farm for the citizens without using pesticide, not much place (60m2). I still wanna rent another square to grow if possible.

 o
RE: Let's get it started

All beautiful, the last one is extremely graceful..perfect.

I hope you get to rent another square of land, you certainly need it now that all your seedlings are blooming and I'm betting you don't have all that many give aways...

Donna

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Well, I need more space indeed! :)

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Huuu You have a good hand with Your new hybrids! Big congratulations!

 o
RE: Let's get it started

You have some interesting ones there, and the last one is really unique!

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Thank you fishing-dentist.
Dear Donna, they are interesting but all in a jumble, I will arrange them again.

 o
RE: Let's get it started

Once again, extremely lovely..I'd have to choose the first, the second Oh heck, I'd choose them all (except Blossom Peacock of course) and even the double that somebody munched on!!

Are any of these re-bloomers from a previous year?

Donna
