A Supper Seedling

Hello,

Time has come to bombard you with my, this years Amaryllis crop. You will see some new faces and mostly old friends, some of them in a slight change in makeup.

Now that is what fascinates me. The change may be a little or marked, but it is always there except in a few varities.

Last year while transplanting my seedlings I spotted one, surrounded by number of babies. Out of curiosity I gave it a twelve inch pot. I used a soil composed of broken bricks (size1/8-1/4 inch), leaf mould, cured cow manure and wood chips. It formed a beautiful bouquet of leaves and then came the hail storm. All leaves got chewed but it fought well to survive.

Today I was surprised by a relatively rather thin scape under a shattered leaf.

What is it going to be? A miniature if so of what colour?

It will take about 8 days to unfold the mystery.

Arif
