probably an hippeastrum Charisma

I'm not quite sure if in fact is is Charisma but I suppose it could be, it is close and very very pretty. Six flowers per umbel, you can't beat that!

Did you buy these all potted up and blooming or were they bulbs that you planted yourself. Charisma selfs very easily so if it is, you should be inundated with seeds.

In a few years I can just imagine how pretty these will look in a large group in your yard. I'm having some serious warm weather envy right about now as our winter continues on in the Northeast...

Thanks for the guess on an id! I don't have any blooming size charisma bulbs to compare to, and googling it brings up a pretty big variety in look, but it could be it.

Donna, I potted these myself. Some non-hippi bulbs I ordered turned out to be virused and produced deformed blooms, and the vendor that sold them to me offered me either a discount on my next order, or some noid bulbs they had extras of. So I decided on these. Since I wasn't sure what they'd look like, I decided to pot them until they bloomed so I could pick the best spot for them. If you look closely in the other thread with the peach tree, you can see them in the background in the spot that will become their landscape home.

Here's one more shot - my Dad made this little pot - isn't it the perfect size!
