They are always on e-bay for sale, I think there are some right now!

I tend to keep my Griffinia much more moist than I would my Clivia. If my Griffinia gets anywhere near dry the leaves almost immediately yellow.

I didn't realize they would cost that much. From what I read, they reproduce fast. If that's so, then they shouldn't be that expensive.

While they do produce offsets at a steady *but not so rapid* pace they are an endangered rare genera from Brazil. Sadly prices aren't always reflected on the quickness of reproduction in geophytic plants.

You must also take into consideration that these aren't garden plants, they're species with very limited growing conditions, this makes them less obtainable.

Once you starting getting into the world of Amaryllidaceae you'll realize that thirty dollars is actually cheap as some mature plants cost on the upwards of 500 dollars or more! *Worsleya, Paramongaia, Pamianthe*
